Which personal data we process
We process your name, email address, telephone number, address, payment information and information regarding the products you order when you make a purchase as a consumer on sjobergs.se. If you place an order as a representative for a corporate customer, we also process address and invoicing details of your employer and, when applicable, login details for the company account on sjobergs.se.
Why we process your data and legal basis
We process your data in order to handle your order, deliver your products, fulfill warranty obligations and provide customer service. For consumer purchases, the processing is necessary to fulfill the contract relating to your order and delivery. For purchases made on behalf of your employer, we base the processing on our legitimate interest in fulfilling our contractual obligations towards your employer. We also process data as required to comply with legal accounting obligations.
We may use your contact details to send marketing regarding similar products, provided that you did not object at the time of purchase. Who has access to your personal data
Your data will be processed by Sjöbergs Workbenches AB. Data may be shared with payment and logistics partners in order to fulfill our agreement with you or your employer. Personal data may also be processed by service providers acting as data processors on our behalf, such as IT service suppliers. We have agreements in place that regulate how these partners may handle personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.
How long we store your personal data
We store personal data for up to 10 years after purchase in order to fulfill obligations under consumer protection laws, including warranty and claims handling. For representatives of corporate customers, data is stored for 10 years according to the general limitation period. Data required under accounting laws is stored for seven years.
Klarna
If you choose to use Klarna’s payment services, we may share contact and order details with Klarna so they can assess which payment options are available and tailor them for you. Klarna processes this data in accordance with their own privacy notice.

Processing in connection with newsletter subscriptions or other contact
Which personal data we process
We process your name, email address and other contact details when you subscribe to a newsletter, request information or otherwise contact us. If you represent a corporate customer, supplier or partner, we process your contact details within that business relationship.
Why we process your data and legal basis
If you have requested marketing material, we process your data based on your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
If processing takes place after a purchase, it is based on a legitimate interest in maintaining communication with you.
For business-related contacts, processing is based on our legitimate interest in managing the business relationship.
If you contact us for other reasons, we process your data to help you with the specific matter, based on a legitimate interest.
Who has access
Your data may be processed by IT service providers acting as data processors under agreement.
How long we store your personal data
Newsletter data is stored as long as you remain subscribed. Other data based on legitimate interest is stored for up to 12 months after the last relevant interaction or as long as the purpose remains, for example while you represent a customer or supplier.
